Welcome to the website for Finished Business.
(formerly Unfinished Business)
Made up of 4 determined and strong women, Finished Business (formerly Unfinished Business) is an all female team in the 2007 Atlantic Ocean Rowing Race. The reason the team has was named Unfinished Business is that all 4 members of the crew have unfinished business with the Atlantic. All 4 women were members of different boats in the 2005 race but were forced to retire for a variety of reasons. They have bounced back in triumphant style and have formed their own team. They have now completed their row across the Atlantic Ocean and continue to raise funds for the Meningitis Trust in the UK and also in New Zealand.
The British contingent of Team Unfinished Business (Jo) will be opening this year’s Wales Boat show and spend 3 days in and around the show. She may also be giving speeches and there’s talk of a rowing challenge so look out for that. Click on the banner below for more details.

Jo Davies, Tara Remington, Sarah Kessans and Emily Kohl set off across the Atlantic Ocean on December 3rd 2007 from San Sebastien, La Gomera in the Canary Islands. They have raced the 3000 miles across open ocean until arriving in English Harbour, Antigua for a well earned rest. 51 days, 16 hours and 31 minutes later and in doing so become the fastest women’s 4 to row across the Atlantic Ocean. The boat carried everything they needed for their voyage.
